Centerville Girls Bowling Wins State Championship


The Centerville girls bowling team won the Division I state championship on Friday, March 8.  The state final was an all GWOC final as the Elks defeated runner-up Beavercreek 3 games to 2 games.  Beavercreek won the first game 205-154 then Centerville won games two and three by scores of 163-133 and 212-191. Beavercreek stormed back and won game four by a score of 209-179. Game five was exciting and came down to the tenth and final frame as the Elks won 159-150. Congratulations to the Elks on winning the state championship! Great job! Go GWOC!
