Fairmont hockey player named for NFHCA Regional team


Olivia Davis, a senior field hockey player at Kettering Fairmont High School, was selected to the 2014 Harrow Sports/ National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) High School All-Region Team, representing the Midwest Region.

Davis served as a team captain in both her junior and senior years, and earned Most Valuable Player honors in 2013 and 2014.  This season Olivia led the offensive attack, scoring 18 goals and having 10 assists.  She had a role in 70% of the team’s goals.   In addition to her offensive prowess, she played a critical role on defensive penalty corners. Davis was also named to the Southwest Ohio Field Hockey League (SWOFHL) First Team, and to the Ohio Field Hockey Coaches Association (OFHCA) All-Ohio Team.  Davis will continue her field hockey career at the University of Virginia in the fall of 2015.
